Far-Flung Luxury at Madagascar’s TIME + TIDE Miavana

For travelers seeking a far-flung beach getaway, it doesn’t get much more remote than TIME +TIDE Miavana. Set on the island of Nosy Ankao off northern Madagascar, the property is only accessible by helicopter from Diego Suarez or from Nosy Be. When to Go:

November to April/May is known for warm days with rain by night. These months are best for scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and taking night walks to spot lemurs and other animals. May/June to October is cooler with south-easterly winds. There are ample opportunities for adventure, like whale watching, kitesurfing and night walks.
